How songs are made
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Zikry is an app for making songs with artificial intelligence (AI). This page explains how a song is made in the app and what happens before it is released on music streaming platforms.
Making a song
- The user starts with a short idea or theme and chooses an atmosphere: the mood and style the song should carry. Instead of an idea, the user can write their own lyrics.
- Unless the user wrote their own lyrics, AI writes the lyrics from the idea. The user can read and edit them before the music is made.
- AI then composes the music and produces the vocals and the final recording.
- Each request produces more than one version of the song. The user listens and chooses the version they want.
Content checks
What the user writes is checked before anything is generated: against our content policy, and for matches with existing copyrighted works. Text that does not pass is refused before a song is made.
Releasing a song on music platforms
- Only songs made with a paid subscription or purchased credits can be submitted for release.
- Before submitting, the user confirms that:
- they have the right to release the song, including its lyrics and anything else they supplied for it;
- the song was made with AI and will be disclosed as made with AI;
- we may deliver the song to music platforms under our label;
- no revenue from the release is shared with them;
- the song, its lyrics and its title contain no personal information about anyone else and do not impersonate a real person.
- Our team reviews every release request. Only approved songs are delivered to music platforms.
- The release artwork is generated by AI.
How released songs are credited
- Every released song is disclosed to music platforms as AI-generated.
- Label, © line, ℗ line and songwriter credit: Zikry App.
- Artist name: the name the user chose.
